Gardenia Cigar festival will start on Saturday from noon to up till 6 p.m. This is the fourth year of the festival and Cigar Fans will be able to a wide variety of cigars ranging from Davidoff demi tasse cigars to romeo y Julieta cigars. The amount of money gathered from this festival will be donated to an Alzheimer’s clinic.
Enjoy food, drinks, cigars and flavored cigars and music at the fourth annual Food, Wine and Cigar Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday on the front lawn of Gardena City Hall, 1700 W. 162nd St.
The festival will feature the smooth musical styling of saxophonist Kim Waters, who will be joined by vocalist Phil Perry, saxophonist Andre Delano, and Oly Awesome featuring the XOP Funk Band. More than 75 food, wine and retail vendors will be on hand.
The event, hosted by the city of Gardena and Mayor Paul Tanaka, also will feature a cigar lounge where hand-rolled cigars will be available.
Proceeds will go toward the Gardena Senior Citizens Day Care Center and Alzheimer’s Clinic. Anyone who pays for a membership in the Champions Club, a group that supports the clinic, can attend the festival for free.
